The lighting is amazing

Greetings from Copenhagen!
The flights were uneventful.
Interesting thing in the vending machines in Zurich: Cannabis flavoured ice tea.
After 2 comical incidents with luggage trolleys in Boston and Copenhagen somehow I and all my luggage miraculously made it here. The hotel is really nice...

I walked around the area in the 1 hour before it got dark and saw many shops, cafes and generally cozy-looking places with candles and nice lighting inside. Oh, and I did have a Danish danish, which was excellent. It's funny how seemingly simple tasks become difficult in a foreign place, like buying groceries (what kind of milk is "Minimaelk" ?) or operating an oven.

I will try to force myself to stay awake just a bit longer to be able to get a good night's rest tonight before heading to Aalborg first thing in the morning.
Love to everyone!

Hey Rebecca,

I am so excited for you!! I love traveling and all the unknowns that come along with it. Enjoy it and remember a little bit of humor and sense of adventure will get you a long way.

Looking forward to hearing all your travel tales! By the way, are you getting any sort of cross cultural training for the job?

You aren't missing much in Somerville...it is rainy and gross out here today.
